Getting to Begur is very easy! Many UK airports operate a service to Girona, which is only a 45 minute drive from Begur, including Bournemouth, Stanstead and Luton. These airports are served by Ryanair who provide an excellent and, if you book early enough, very low price service.

Alternatively you can fly to Barcelona airport, which is an hour and 15 minute drive to Begur. Both Easyjet and BA operate a service to Barcelona.

Another alternative is Perpignan in France, which is about a 2 hour drive, to which Flybe operate a service from Southampton. Ryanair also fly to Perpignan from many UK airports at very competitive prices.

And, of course, there is the car! We have taken the ferry from Dover to Calais and driven down through France using the central motorways. From Calais to the villa it took us 12 hours sharing the driving. Iit is infact a very pleasant journey and if you do want to stop over there are many beautiful areas in which you can do so.
